About Natalia

Dr. Salamanca enjoys working with adult clients from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of concerns, including trauma, OCD, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, relationship problems, and life transitions. Her approach is holistic and integrative, grounded primarily in CBT, and she collaborates closely with clients to develop a personalized approach aligned with their goals and values. On request she offers counseling incorporating a spiritual perspective. She is fluent in Spanish and committed to accessible, meaningful care for Spanish-speaking individuals.

Dr. Salamanca earned her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, specializing in psycho-oncology (cancer, palliative care, chronic illness, quality-of-life interventions). She has extensive experience with chronic illness, and her internship included individual psychotherapy with adults in community mental health and on-site treatment/neurobehavioral assessment in retirement and long-term care facilities. Before psychology, she worked in the medical field in Colombia and the UK, with an emphasis in palliative and end-of-life care. She enjoys nature, family, and connecting with the local Hispanic community.
