About Jamey
Jamey Miller is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Kentucky and a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in Ohio. She enjoys working with clients of all backgrounds and is especially passionate about supporting children ages 5 and up, teens, and young adults. She creates a warm, supportive space where clients feel seen and understood while being gently guided toward growth and healing. Jamey works with young people facing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, and life stressors, partnering with caregivers to support growth in and out of sessions, and also works with children and adults healing from trauma.
Her approach is person-centered, emphasizing empathy, trust, and authentic connection. She draws from CBT, ACT, DBT, and play-based interventions, and is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma-focused approach. Jamey earned her Bachelor's in Psychology and her Master's in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and has worked in mental health since 2018 with children, teens, young adults, and families, including supporting adults with serious mental illness and substance use concerns.
